The MM22 project emerges from the desire to translate Maison Margiela’s philosophy into a raw, expressive, and deeply conceptual spatial language. More than a shoe store, this concept store becomes a sensory space where imperfection and experimentation are not flaws, but fundamental values in contemporary design. The concept of deconstruction is not only employed as a formal strategy but also as a critical stance against conventional luxury codes.

From the fully glazed façade, the space boldly rejects concealment. The interior is exposed like a manifesto, where textures, materials, and forms are revealed without filters. A black metal framework outlines the storefront with industrial rigor, while the oversized “MM22” typography and the phrase “Raw. Bold. Margiela.” set a deliberately editorial tone.
